The Hyper Pod 3 Extension poles are for deploying the Hyper Pod 3 to the ground while standing.
Important note - the best way to determine the extension pole you need (for full stand with bipod to the ground) is to measure the height of the shooters shoulder at the ball joint of the shoulder. For example: if your shoulder measures anywhere between 145cm to 165cm from the ground, using the description below you can determine you will need the 70cm pole. Note 2: measurements can be forgiving by a couple of centimeters. Note 3: If one pole doesn't fit your requirement, you can add a second pole.
The poles are available in: (Optional screw-on or pic rail quick release models - and poles can be connected to make optional heights).
86cm pole: Attached to the trigger pole for shooters measuring to the shoulder joint between 162cm to 180cm. Closed height is: 162cm - the extended height is: 180cm. The pole can also can be used individually with the V Yoke and bipod on the base or simply as a monopole.
70cm pole: Attached to the trigger pole for shooters measuring to the shoulder joint between 147cm to 163cm. Closed height is: 147cm - the extended height is: 163cm. The pole can also can be used individually with the V Yoke and bipod on the base or simply as a monopole.
25cm pole: Attached to the trigger pole for shooters measuring to the shoulder joint between 100cm to 118cm. Closed height is: 100cm - the extended height is: 118cm. A second option is it can be used directly on to the knuckle and bipod if the shooter is wanting to use the rest for sitting down only and not requiring any extension options.
10cm pole: (Not for standing and extended to the ground) Used to make the standard issue pole longer for people taller than 6ft 1. (Note: this is not always necessary - many tall people do not need the extension). Can also be added to the Bipod and knuckle to give the bipod and knuckle a bit more height.
The advantages of the various poles and quick release: All Hyper Pod 3 parts and poles are adaptable to make a variety of configurations to suit you and your needs. The quick release option makes changing and swapping parts very convenient.
